Sara Zin was born in Seoul, Korea and raised in New York. She began her career at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, where she studied illustration, printmaking, design and painting. She later transferred to the University of Washington, where she received her degree in Interdisciplinary Visual Art. After graduating, she started showing at the Pacini Lubel Gallery and was awarded the GAP grant. She has exhibited at various galleries across the United States and currently lives in Seattle.
